The Senior Manager, Global Insights & Analytics, Innovation Excellence will play a critical role in transforming the Insights & Analytics function (I&A), building best-in-class tools & capabilities that enable Mondelez to develop breakthrough innovation ideas and translate these into short & long-term brand growth.

Reporting directly to the Global lead of Creative & Innovation Excellence for I&A, this role requires a transformative change agent with a strong bias for action, able to paint a compelling vision of the desired end-state, while delivering short-term wins that materially impact the business. It also requires someone highly skilled in operating within a matrix, able to bring together and align cross-functional partners (Category Strategy, R&D/Consumer Sciences, Marketing Excellence, Mondelez Digital Services, I&A Shopper) as well as the Business Unit I&A teams.

K ey Accountabilities:

+ Working with cross-functional partners, this role will be responsible for developing & managing a world-class ecosystem of methodologies, tools, and KPIs designed to help the business:

+ Develop, optimize and measure the impact of product/pack innovation & renovation, inclusive of:

+ Core product/pack quality tracking (PQB/PackQB)

+ Innovation trend/opportunity spotting

+ Insight & desired consumer experience

+ Pre-launch concept & product testing, validation & forecasting

+ Post-launch measurement & optimization; evaluation/analysis of business & brand impact

+ Working with cross-functional partners and the local Insights & Analytics teams, this role will be responsible for building , deploying and embedding new innovation datasets, tools & capabilities within the Business Units, including delivering training, overseeing change management, ensuring adoption & governance.

+ Identifying the technology, infrastructure and resources required to effectively create data platforms that connect and maximize our innovation learnings and embed & operationalize these capabilities long-term.

+ Working with cross-functional partners, this role will be responsible for democratizing Innovation data as well as leveraging meta-data from the sum of innovation testing & measurement conducted to identify actionable learnings to inform our overall approach to innovation excellence

+ Partnering with Consumer Science and the Business Unit I&A teams, this role will be responsible for identifying, vetting and rolling out new data, analytics & research partners for Innovation, enabling the business to unlock more powerful, proprietary insights in an advanced & agile manner. This includes leveraging digital & transactional learning, DIY qualitative & quantitative vendors, etc.

+ With the guidance and support of the Senior Director, this role will contribute to critical reporting up to senior management to help drive strategic decisions surrounding Innovation.

Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s Degree required; Masters preferred

+ 8+ years in brand/category insights & analytics leadership roles

+ Strong experience in leveraging data, analytics & insights (and blending different disciplines & sources together) to fuel innovation development; expertise in some of the key vendors, methodologies & approaches in this area of practice

+ Proven people leadership with track record of building and developing highly motivated, empowered, and high-performing teams.

+ Transformative change agent with an expansive, innovative mindset, comfortable with ambiguity, thinking outside the box and challenging the status quo.

+ Highly collaborative team player, proven track record of getting the best out of a team, regardless of location or reporting lines

+ Strategic, decisive, and proactive leader as well as a visionary thinker

+ Strong bias for action, with a proven track record in persuasively influencing and aligning business stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization

+ Persuasive and effective communicator, obsessed with telling clear, compelling stories that influence stakeholders & drive action.
