JOB SUMMARY
LOCATION: Blue Island Primary Care Health Center (12757 S. Western Avenue, Blue Island, IL 60406)
SHIFT: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM;Mondays & Wednesday10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
ROTATING SATURDAYS: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (1st & 3rd)
Starting salary is commensurate with years of RN experience
The Clinical Nurse I, Bilingual (CNI) is the first level professional nursing position. Administers care by means of the nursing process and is responsible for providing safe, effective nursing care for patients and supportive care to significant others, both independently, and as a member of the health care team. As a professional nurse, assigns and monitors patient care delegated to various levels of nursing staff in accordance with members of the health team center. The CN I provides legible comprehensive medical record documentation that reflects all aspects of care provided. Performs related duties as required. Performs Care Management in accordance with PCMH Model of care, as necessary.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be licensed as a registered nurse in the State of Illinois.
Must possess a current Basic Life Support certification (BLS). (Must provide proof at time of interview if already obtained)
Bilingual in English/Spanish (Candidate may be required to test for proficiency)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) from a college or university.
At least One (1) year of full-time clinical nursing experience, including Telephone triage and Telehealth nursing
