CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technology Business Management (TBM) Architect to join our dynamic IT team. As a TBM Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing TBM frameworks, methodologies, and processes to optimize technology investments, drive financial transparency, and align IT with business goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and business stakeholders, to develop and maintain an effective TBM strategy that enables informed decision-making and maximizes the value delivered by technology investments. You will play a critical role in shaping the CVS Health TBM strategy, driving financial transparency, and optimizing the value delivered by technology investments. Responsibilities:

+ Develop and implement the TBM strategy, framework, and roadmap aligned with CVS Health’s organizational goals and industry best practices.

+ Design TBM processes, methodologies, and standards to enable accurate cost transparency, financial management, and value optimization.

+ Evaluate, select, and implement TBM tools and software solutions that support cost allocation, budgeting, financial reporting, and value management.

+ Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to ensure seamless integration and data accuracy across TBM platforms.

+ Design and implement cost transparency models and cost allocation methodologies to accurately assign IT costs to business units, projects, and services.

+ Understand financial management processes, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.

+ Establish mechanisms to measure and communicate the value and impact of technology investments on business outcomes.

+ Analyze technology portfolios, projects, and services to identify cost optimization opportunities and recommend strategies to improve cost efficiency and value delivery.

+ Develop and maintain TBM documentation, including standards, procedures, and guidelines.

+ Collaborate with finance, IT, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, solicit feedback, and ensure the successful implementation and adoption of TBM practices.

+ Effectively communicate TBM concepts, methodologies, and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through presentations, reports, and workshops.

+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in Technology Business Management, IT finance, financial analysis, or related roles.

+ Strong understanding of TBM frameworks, methodologies, and best practices, such as the TBM Council’s TBM Taxonomy.

+ Proficiency in TBM tools and platforms, such as Apptio, ServiceNow, or similar solutions.

+ In-depth knowledge of financial management principles, cost accounting, budgeting, and financial modeling.

+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.

+ Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical and financial concepts to diverse audiences.

+ Experience in leading TBM implementation projects and driving organizational change.

+ Ability to collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including technology leaders, finance managers, and business executives.

+ Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.Master’s degree is preferred.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master’s Degree is preferred.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$120,750.00 – $240,000.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
