Position SummaryThe primary responsibility of the Senior Contract Analyst is to ensure that the intent surrounding the contract negotiation process is accurately reflected in the final document. The Senior Contract Analyst will work primarily with the CVS Trade team and mid and large sized pharmaceutical manufacturers on contracts for Rebates Agreements, Confidentiality Agreements and Settlement Agreements. This includes contract generation, red lining, tracking and preparation of contractual documents for signature as part of finalizing CVS Caremark negotiated Rebate agreements. These contracts must accurately reflect CVS Caremark’s current business strategies and must have approval from all respective business units, in accordance with the Contract Review and Approval Process SOP and all current regulatory requirements. The role is suited to someone who is detailed oriented, can think critically, and has the utmost integrity.Required Qualifications

+ Minimum of 5 years of contract experience required with a preferred knowledge of PBM business/operations.

+ Experience in redlining documents.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Demonstrated ability to manage and organize projects from start to completion

+ Prior contracting experience in healthcare and knowledge on contracting terminology

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

+ Ability to work independently with little supervision

+ Ability to work and communicate effectively with multiple departments and individuals

+ Be detail oriented and have very good organizational skills

Education

+ Bachelor’s Degree required, or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,700.00 – $105,100.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
