Description
Director II Payment Innovation
Location: This role will work a hybrid model (remote and office) and ideal candidate will reside within 50 miles or 1-hour commute of an Elevance Health PulsePoint location.
The Director II Payment Innovation is responsible for issue management and operational evaluation and support of payment model design, development, and innovative payment solutions for healthcare providers, including framing of business requirements. Responsible for broad scale issue resolution and operational capability assessment process management for a diverse portfolio of payment innovation solutions and leading large, multi-stakeholder teams.
How you will make an impact:
+ Drives the operational execution of payment innovation strategies.
+ Evaluates network and program issues, identifies root cause and optimal solutions, sets a path to resolution, and drives full execution.
+ Engages provider technical and clinical teams and cross-functional teams, collects business requirements, creates Value-Based Payment concepts, and writes High-Level Business Requirements documents.
+ Supports business solution development, works with other business partners to guide solution development, pilots and solutions launch activities, and develops strategic roadmaps that drive business solutions.
+ Develops and designs processes and systems that support business needs.
+ Translates complex information and coordinates the communication and implementation of key decisions and accomplishments (internally and externally).
+ Leads special projects/initiatives.
+ Represents the company in external meetings (as needed).
+ Hires, trains, coaches, counsels and evaluates performance of direct reports.
Minimum requirements:
+ Requires BA/BS (preferably in healthcare administration, economics or related field) and a minimum of 8 years of experience with healthcare delivery/payment design, strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting, process improvement, technical development processes, and provider contracting.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
+ MBA, MHA or similar degree strongly preferred.
+ Previous experience leading design and execution of Value-Based Payment Models
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $165,760 to $313,286.
