Entry-Level Supply Chain Specialist
Coilcraft, Inc., founded in 1945, is an established worldwide organization specializing in the manufacturing of magnetic components with headquarters located in Cary, Illinois. We are seeking an individual to join our purchasing team.
- Assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and trends.
- Work closely with vendors to gather information, negotiate terms, and ensure timely deliveries.
- Assist in managing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and resolving discrepancies.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of reports and dashboards that communicate key procurement performance indicators and insights.
- Assist in documenting procurement processes, requirements, and workflows to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with various departments, including finance, logistics, and operations, to support procurement goals.
- Develop problem-solving skills and contribute to proposing data-driven solutions for procurement challenges.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Eagerness to learn and grow as a Purchasing Professional.
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and adaptability to new challenges.
- Knowledge of procurement or supply chain management concepts is a plus but not required.
