Job Description

Elevance Health, Inc. seeks Data Science Solutions Consultant Sr. in Chicago, IL.

Duties:

1. Program processes for data setup and enable advanced analytic capabilities.
2. Collaborate with Data Scientists and Engineers to create ideas for enabling capabilities.
3. Perform code reviews.
4. Maintain technical development environment and implementation plans.
5. Assist in developing training documentation and advise on best coding practices.
6. Develop and perform unit testing and fix defects identified during testing and re-execute unit tests to validate results.
7. Gather requirements to guide approach and solutions.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering, or a related field, plus 3 years of related experience. Additionally, position requires experience with each of the following:

1. 3 years of experience with Python or object‐oriented programming.
2. 3 years of experience with SQL and relational databases.
3. 3 years of experience designing, testing, optimizing and troubleshooting ETL solutions.
4. 3 years of experience with complete project lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, implementation, support and enhancement.
5. 3 years of experience interpreting data and analyzing data using statistical techniques and building analytical reports/dashboards using SQL and shell scripts.
6. 1 year of experience automating and maintaining manual processes using scripting languages including Shell scripting or python.
7. 1 year of experience planning, creating, and managing test cases and test scripts.
