+ Holiday Requirements: NoEmail a Friend Save Save Apply Now Position Summary: The Digital Consumer Sales Associate is responsible for performing sales activities to prospective members through the digital communication of consumer products, benefits and plans. Consumer products consist of Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Individual & Family Plans. The Digital Consumer Sales Associate’s duties also include resolving eligibility and enrollment related questions, responding to internal and external customer inquiries. The Digital Consumer Sales Associate will respond to inquiries by phone rarely and only at the discretion of sales management. Qualifications: CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS Insurance Producer License Applicable Life, Accident and Health Insurance within 3 months. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Minimum three years direct consumer selling, telemarketing experience or one year experience in a health-related field required. Experience working with the senior population may be substituted for experience in a health-related field. Experience with Medicare and digital sales experience is strongly preferred. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
+ Must successfully complete Medicare certification (3 attempts)
+ Must successfully complete product exams (3 attempts)
+ Must successfully complete CMS FFM certification (3 attempts)SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Sales, Digital Sales or Customer Service experience using chat, online quoting platforms and other digital communication methods including email and virtual appointments to meet sales or service performance targets is preferred. Experience with a computer-based documentation system or customer relationship management (CRM) software to track inquiries received is preferred. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with external and internal contacts in written correspondence is required. Ability to interpret and make decisions based on prospective member needs is required. Strong attention to detail and capability to meet established productivity and quality standards is required. Access to reliable internet and a consistent at home workspace that is quiet, free from distractions, and kept in a clean, professional, and safe condition, with adequate lighting and ventilation while allowing for proper confidentiality and security measures is required. Essential Functions:
+ Participates in development of marketing strategies to compete with other individuals or companies who sell insurance.
+ Pursues digital leads generated by internal marketing efforts and seeks out new prospects through networking.
+ Screens prospects for plan eligibility and ensures application requirements are fulfilled.
