Email a Friend Save Save Apply Now Position Summary: The Scheduling System Administrator is responsible for managing the scheduling software, providing system support, and providing education for end users. This position will provide support for staffing and scheduling coordination for Carle operational teams. The Scheduling System Administrator will have working knowledge of the scheduling system and possess the ability to make updates and corrections to the scheduling system in real time. The Scheduling System Administrator will have in-depth knowledge of the scheduling system, will be accessible by all scheduling users, and be capable of analyzing scheduling changes and troubleshooting the scheduling system. The Staffing Office is responsible for assisting with the staffing and scheduling coordination for the inpatient operations, as well as the implementation, system support, and education of the house-wide scheduling system. The Scheduling Administrator will have working knowledge of the scheduling system, and the ability to make updates and corrections to the schedule in real time. In addition, the Staffing Office Scheduling Administrator will have in-depth knowledge of the scheduling system, will be accessible by all scheduling users, and be capable of analyzing scheduling changes and troubleshooting the scheduling system. Qualifications: EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS None EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS One (1) year General – Office Experience and/or Two (2) years Customer Service. Proficient customer service skills required. Proficiency in Microsoft WORD and EXCEL. Prior clerical and scheduling experience preferred. Teaching experience preferred. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Experience with implementing and/or supporting system applications. Knowledge of health care processes and workflow. Experience with hospital information systems. Excellent customer service skills. Excellent computer skills. Excellent phone skills. Good written and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a group. Ability to problem solve. Ability to follow established procedures and policies. Accuracy and excellent attention to detail is critical. Essential Functions:+ Acts as a scheduling knowledge resource for scheduling operational teams, managers and supervisors.
+ Assists with the system configuration and testing support during scheduling and attendance system implementation and upgrades.
+ Scheduling system maintenance.
+ ATT system maintenance.
+ Troubleshoot and facilitate resolution to end-user issues.
+ Assists in delivery of end-user training.
+ Provides accurate data entry, information retrieval, and reporting.
+ Assists with inpatient staffing and scheduling coordination.
+ Provides support for timekeeper functions.
+ Serves as a resource for staffing policies and procedures regarding the scheduling system.
+ Answers telephone, and takes and delivers messages according to department communication standards.
+ Provides administrative, secretarial, and clerical support for the department.
+ Facilitate Carle Health employee redeployment efforts.
