Job Description
Summary:
This role is responsible for functioning as part of a team to meet production goals. This position will communicate production issues and take direction from the department supervisor on a daily basis.
Essential Functions:
- Setup, operate, and troubleshoot band saw, and slitting equipment to ensure the safe, efficient production of sub-assembly parts.
- Provide support to the pouring operation's de-mold and post-cure processes.
- Provide assembly support during times of high demand.
- Perform visual inspection and physical property testing on sub-assemblies in accordance with internal and external quality control procedures.
- Work with engineering and production on continuous improvement / Six Sigma projects as needed.
- Communicate with various departments such as quality, shipping and value added on product quality issues material availability for further processing or shipping.
- Maintain safe work environment, minor maintenance on equipment and area cleanup.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education
- 1+ years of manufacturing experience
- Mechanical aptitude
