Position is Monday – Friday with occasional overtime.

What YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

+ Ensure all orders are shipped accurately, in a timely and efficient manner

+ Coordinate and maintain inventory

+ Receive material coming into the building

+ Verify the quantity and description of materials received by checking merchandise against the packing list.

+ Accurately place materials on shelves, in racks or other designated storage areas in a safe, orderly manner.

+ Issue parts and materials for manufacturing requirements as requested; stage in appropriate area as required for delivery to the plant.

+ Replenish material when vital

+ Assemble, package and fill orders to be shipped to customers

+ Select proper container for most economical use of packaging material and proper protection of items and position product to prevent damage and obtain proper distribution, close and seal container; apply label or mark special designations; shrink wrap and band skids, load trucks.

+ Review all orders for accuracy

+ Report faulty equipment, defective material and unusual conditions to team lead or manager.

+ Safely operate all equipment in work area

+ Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition.

+ Accurately identify and count stock materials as listed on the cycle count list

+ Other job related duties as assigned by supervisor.

You have:

+ High School diploma or equivalent

+ 6+ months shipping / warehouse experience required

+ Experience using RF scanners and other logistics software preferred

+ Basic math skills.

+ Certification of power-truck equipment or ability to obtain

+ Ability to be reliable and to work a flexible schedule depending on business needs.

+ Skill in being customer focused and will ensure that all orders and inquiries are responded to with professionalism.

+ Ability to communicate effectively with customers, associates and management.

+ Ability to be a self-starter and detail oriented.

+ Good command of both verbal and written English.

+ Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

+ Ability to lift up to 50lbs

+ Ability to bend, twist, reach, climb, pull, push, stand and squat.

+ Ability to operate in a team based environment
