Role description:
Arcadis is seeking a vibrant, organized, and talented Marketing Intern for a global design consultancy firm. This position entails working alongside a Global Chicago City Executive on a local strategic marketing campaign. The position resides in Chicago, Il and requires the individual to be in the Chicago office 2 days a week and at remote events in the Chicago loop and Chicagoland area. Position may be held up to 3 years-flexible schedule 20 hours a week. Ideal for part-time individual, part time retired individual or college student.
Role accountabilities:
- Provide support for customer events and initiatives, including logistical assistance, coordination of resources, event set up and break down and ensuring a positive attendee experience.
- Provide research on clients, their capital improvement plans, media presence as well as project specific research to develop opportunity pipelines.
- Developing effective content and engagement for social media stories -LinkedIn, Instagram.
- Maintain client events calendars and Global City Executive Events and Meeting calendar.
- Entering client opportunities into Oracle system.
- Presence at front desk and at intake for events or client events and meetings.
- Set up and break down of client meetings, including catering set up and break down.
- Coordination of campaign materials, printing, and distributing out to clients.
- Administrative tasks, as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications:
- Pursuing a BS/BA in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related academic major.
- Proficient in MS PowerPoint, MS Word.
Preferred Qualifications:
- GIS Mapping Skills a plus.
- Power BI Skills a plus.
- Command of Miro a plus.
