Position Title: Tote Washer - 2nd Shift
Summary: Washes and sanitizes the stainless-steel totes after they have been emptied in the packaging department.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Manually washing totes with a water hose and drying them with air hose.
Stacking up the clean totes with a forklift in the designated area.
Discarding used tote identification cards.
Inspecting totes for defects and transporting them to maintenance for repair.
Daily sanitation of the tote washing area.
Filling out daily tote washing log to document activity.
Safely operate a forklift.
Adherence to all department procedures and GMP's.
Clean and sanitize each tote.
Qualifications:
High school diploma.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Ability to write simple correspondence.Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of DAX software.
