Major Duties:

  • Coordinates local and routine remote projects of planning and allocating space requirements for the bank and subsidiary locations.
  • Analyzes and evaluates space availability and requirements. Gathers data to formulate budget, capital expenditures, and estimates of planned construction.
  • Sets long- and short-term objectives for the project.
  • Draws and designs layouts working with managers in allocating space. Uses computer aided drafting and design (CADD) system to analyze and model various designs and evaluate alternatives.
  • Researches, negotiates, selects, and directs outside contractors throughout the course of the project.
  • Prepares and monitors project budget and secures division approvals in accordance with current approval procedures.
  • Coordinates physical move of furniture and contents.
  • Selects, negotiates prices, and purchases furniture based on project needs.
  • Assists in strategic planning. Interacts with various levels throughout the
  • organization to meet partners'' space requirements.

  • Collects, compiles and analyzes data; creates both formal and informal ad hoc and BAU reports regarding moves, adds, changes, partner and contractor occupancy, and space assignment trends
  • Resolves problems, identifies the most appropriate solution and may establish new techniques to ensure the team is able to meet its objectives
  • Has direct impact, on the quality of the tasks performed or services provided by the team
  • Directs implementation of project standards and procedures. Requires a comprehensive understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems and concepts within own job discipline
  • Client-focused with exceptional communication skills; exchanges information in a straightforward manner and asks questions to check for understanding
  • Uses insights into how the team integrates with other teams to coordinate efforts and resources to achieve shared and individual objectives
  • Requires tact and diplomacy to exchange ideas and information in a concise and logical way



Knowledge of space planning and design or real estate development, usually acquired through previous experience or formal education, is required to design space. Analytical, mathematical, and accounting skills are required to determine most efficient use of space and budget. Negotiation and presentation skills are required to work with internal partners and external contractors. Drafting and
personal computer skills are required to design space using a CADD system.

Experience :4 years of space planning and design or real estate
development experience.
