Description
The Monitor Tech, 12hrs-CENTRAL TELEreflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
The central telemetry monitor technician is responsible for continuously monitoring the cardiac monitors of patients, identifyingabnormal and normal rhythms, prompt reporting of cardiac rhythm and rate changes, and accurate recordkeeping.Must possess effective communicationskills.Must have basic computer skills.
This position is full-time, 72hours per pay period, night shift (7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.) with alternating weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
Required:
High School diploma
Successful completion of ECG interpretation coursework or 1 year of previous cardiac monitoring experience
CPR - Basic Life Support
