Who you are :
Reporting to the President of Northern Trust Asset Management (NTAM), you are the Head of Global Institutional Client Group, an Executive Vice President, and a member of NTAM's Leadership Team. You are responsible for the strategic direction and commercial success for NTAM's Institutional businesses worldwide. They include the Global Institutional Client Businesses (North America APAC and EMEA) ; Global Family Office business, global consultant relations and the sales enablement functions. The role is a leadership role responsible for driving organic revenue and AUM growth, partnering to define investment and product strategy to drive innovation in our Institutional businesses, and leading and motivating the distribution and enablement teams.
What You'll Do:
1. Develop and execute on global sales and client service strategies to grow the institutional business and meet NTAM's strategic and financial goals.
2. Partner with NTAM product and investment leadership to drive development of next generation of products and exposures
Create a methodical understanding of client needs/pain-points, prioritize and execute against them with rigor
Meet regularly with Northern Trust's key clients to uncover new investment and product opportunities
Discuss future investment and product opportunities with CIOs and head of Product
Champion development of new products and seeding of future products for NTAM
3. Manage senior sales leaders and influence functional leaders in NTAM (Product, Marketing, CIOs and PMs) to execute sales plans
Build, develop and motivate high-performing sales teams
Promote and champion a high performance culture within the organization
4. Ensure board governance and compliance with contractual, statutory and regulatory obligations.
5. Partner across business lines to strategize and deliver all of Northern Trust's capabilities to clients.

Global (NA, EMEA, APAC) and multi-segment experience: Public/Taft Hartley, Corporate, asset aggregators, Sovereign wealth funds, Insurance companies and Family Offices
Ability to manage institutional discussions using Investing/ intellectual capital and experience building solutions/ OCIO to meet client needs.
Ability to represent organization with a sales/ closing orientation for large mandates
Proven ability to form and cultivate relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
