Description:

Reporting to the Senior Director of Alumni Relations, the Assistant Director of Alumni Relations' (Associate Director of Alumni Engagement) primary responsibility is to manage and support the development of a robust, comprehensive alumni engagement program that expands relationships, recognition, and pride for more than 30,000 alumni and learners. This position develops and promotes alumni programming over three campuses that supports the mission and the strategic goals of the University of Illinois College of Medicine. This employee is a team member in the Office of Medical Advancement.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Coordinate, grow, and support the alumni engagement efforts of the College of Medicine and ensure that programming and initiatives are aligned with UICOM, UI Health, and overall UIC Advancement goals.
Under the direction of the Senior Director of Alumni Relations, develop external (alumni leaders, donors, and volunteers) and internal (department heads, administrators, faculty, staff, and students) relationships to collaborate on engagement initiatives and deliver the highest level of content-driven programming that meets annual engagement and fundraising goals across three campuses.
Under the direction of the Senior Director of Relations, and using a service model approach, implement an annual outreach plan based on the Alumni Engagement Metrics data to successfully meet established goals, expected outcomes, and deliverables.
In collaboration with the Senior Director of Alumni Relations and the UI Health Donor Acquisition and Engagement team, coordinate and execute an annual calendar of alumni communications to deliver consistent messaging across multiple channels to inform and inspire alumni engagement, service, and philanthropy.
Collaborate on strategic efforts to support the growth and development of UICOM in accordance with goals set by the leadership of the three campuses.
Assist in managing the alumni program budget, evaluate activities, and prepare reports demonstrating the growth and value of alumni engagement using data, surveys, and feedback.
Support areas of synergy to maximize resources and provide a coordinated alumni experience.
