Job Description Summary

The Sales Readiness Coordinator will drive results as the first point of contact for assigned sales teams and customers through team selling, administrative support, and resolving questions/requests/issues in a timely manner utilizing detailed knowledge of Lamb Weston products, systems, and tools. Serve as the primary liaison between sales managers and marketing department (customer marketing and product development). Provide administrative support to sales team as needed. Escalate issues to appropriate parties, as necessary, to ensure appropriate responses.

Job Description
  • Product Promotion Management: Ensuring sales teams have all sales tools, promotional materials, and product information to assist in meeting product promotions and sales targets.
  • Food Show & Event Management: Manage food show process including reserving space, ordering promotional materials, shipping displays, and staffing shows on occasion. Support Internal Sales Events, including Business Conference.
  • Take actions that deliver key sales results by developing relationships with key internal customers.
  • Field Execution Support: Support field execution through actively engaging the management team in the identification of unique opportunities and initiatives that require local and regional knowledge and development of industry and community events.
  • Communication Execution: Handle the execution and distribution of the weekly sales communication newsletter by communicating and collaborating with cross-functional partners, collecting articles, revising/editing content, packaging newsletter and sending out to the business unit
  • Respond to sales team questions and requests (e.g., sales tool location) in a timely manner, either by determining answer on your own or escalating to appropriate resources (Operations, Category Management, Finance, etc.) or external vendors, as required. Maintain ownership of all follow up communication from escalated inquiries.
  • Leverage sales tools to quickly and accurately answer inquiries to provide insight. Systems and tools include, but is not limited to the following: Salesforce.com; DOMO and PROs
  • Take personal responsibility for continued professional development including in but not limited to: on-boarding, job training, sales training, sales skills and tools training, and team training. Attend department sales meetings, product trainings and cuttings to develop and grow product and vendor knowledge as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 3 years customer service experience required (call center, retail, restaurant, etc.). Foodservice experience preferred. Previous sales experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service orientation with ability to professionally and effectively influence/persuade customers to purchase products.
  • Ability to multitask and manage several projects at a time - meeting all deliverables associated with the projects.
  • Computer Skills: Ability to use a variety of computer technologies and tools including, Microsoft Suite, with CRM use.
  • Strong written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to travel independently up to 15% required.

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise. A candidate's work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $47,800.00 - $71,690.00
