Staff Data Engineer at a glance
The Kraft Heinz Information Technology organization is hiring a Staff Data Engineer who will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary agile team to build high quality data pipelines driving analytic solutions. These solutions will generate insights from our connected data, enabling Kraft Heinz to advance data-driven decision-making capabilities across the enterprise. You will have a deep understanding of data architecture, data engineering, data analysis, and reporting -- and a basic understanding of data science techniques and workflows, as well as the business processes supported by the data pipelines.
What's on the menu?
Develop and operate modern data architecture approaches to meet key business objectives and provide end-to-end data solutions
Contribute to building generic frameworks for data ingestion, data processing, and data integrations
Implements standard methodologies for software design, architecture, and implementation
Implements monitoring tools/processes to ensure platform stability and operational SLAs
Extends DevOps capabilities for deploying data solutions
Acts as a data owner and functional data SME for the assigned area

I have experience in role delivering and supporting software and data engineering capabilities.
I have strong design and software programming development (preferably Python)
I have strong experience with cloud services within Azure, AWS, or GCP platforms
I have experience with analytical tools (preferably SQL, dbt, Snowflake)
I have hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD processes
I am a self-starter, driven with high business process competence
I have strong communication skills with comfort in speaking with business partners
