Description:

Reporting to the Regional Director, Provider Services, the Administrative Director of Provider Services will lead and support the provider recruitment and contracting activities of Provider Services and will direct the administrative activities across academic departments. They will work across multiple departments and manage a large span of colleagues and direct and oversee the work of the department administrators across all departments. They will develop and implement standardized processes to ensure that departmental operations across all departments are managed consistently and in line with institutional policies and procedures.

Essential Job Functions:

+ Responsible for provider contracting and physician administrative services for Loyola Medicine.

+ Develop and maintain professional standard for contract distribution and oversee contract management databases. Manage intercompany agreements between LUMC, LMG, GHSCS, MNH, and GMH – including Medical Directorship and provider service agreements.

+ Responsible for ensuring alignment between recruitment, physician compensation and provider service agreements. Requires collaboration with business development team and hospital administration teams.

+ The Director is responsible for oversight of physician contracting compliance with legal and regulatory requirements including, but not limited to the Stark Law and state and federal anti-kickback statutes. The Administrator shall work with the Trinity Health regional and home offices, as needed, to respond to requests for information and audit responses. Additionally, the Director will ensure that financial systems support provider compensation arrangements and will collaborate with finance to develop and monitor processes.

+ Collaborate with executive leadership, physician finance, legal, human resources, ambulatory, Stritch School of Medicine leadership and medical group members to ensure provider recruitment and employment issues are addressed in a timely manner.

+ Special projects identified to improve provider services management at the regional or system level- including physician marketing systems, Diversity Equity and Inclusion Initiatives, Academic Affiliation Projects with Stritch School of Medicine and software/data improvement initiatives. Develop new policies and polices for the region based on project work and recommended changes.

Requirements :

+ Master’s degree in nursing or comparable clinical degree, healthcare, or business.

+ 6-10 years of previous job-related experience

+ 5+ years of managerial experience
