Position: Customer Service Representative
Location: Lombard, IL
Description
Duties include building and maintaining strong customer relationships, responding to all customer inquiries and requests, providing some technical assistance to customers, proactively expediting customer orders, entering orders/quotes/credits/RMA’s, assisting outside salesforce as well as our purchasing, accounting, and shipping and receiving departments, etc., in getting problems solved. Incumbent will reference various vendor websites, ordering systems and catalogs on a daily basis. They will also be responsible for vendor relationship building. We need someone to take ownership of all of these processes. POSSESSING A TECHNICAL/MECHANICAL APTITUDE is instrumental in performing these duties.
Qualifications
Ideal candidate will have
Three or more years of related work experience (Industrial Sales experience desirable)
Possess math, language and reasoning ability along with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (Office 365).
Familiarity with Epicor/Prophet 21 software a plus.
Candidate must exercise excellent interpersonal and telephone skills that include the ability to communicate accurately, effectively, and professionally with customers, vendors and fellow employees.
Good organizational skills are a must.
