Job Description
Description:
Responsible for process documentation, standards, quality improvements and cost reductions.
Time will be spent 50/50 between the office and manufacturing floor
Will lead process improvements and find ways to make manufacturing more cost effective
Will support product development and help with development prototypes
Develops, evaluates and improves manufacturing methods
Estimates production times, staffing requirements and related costs
Typical hours 7:30 – 4:30pm but flexible within an hour on each end
Skills:
Lean Manufacturing, Process documentation, cost reduction, Process improvement
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
BS Degree highly preferred
3-10 years of experience – not looking for anymore
Familiar with PPAP processes and procedures
Must be proficient in CAD – Solidworks and AutoCAD preferred
Lean manufacturing a plus
Looking for someone who wants to work in a team environment
