We are currently seeking a Mortgage Resolution Specialist in Evansville, IN or Gurnee, IL. The Mortgage Resolution Specialist is a front line mortgage servicing function. They will be responsible for resolving customer issues and inquiries within strict timeframes. This role is a call center environment which handles a moderate volume of incoming calls from borrowers, bankers and those assigned from Client Care and/or Bank Support. In this role the incumbent performs various tasks that will be required for servicing a mortgage loan. They must be knowledgeable of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac servicing requirements as well as governmental loan products.
Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls providing support to borrowers, bankers, and those assigned from Client Care and/or Bank Support.
Generate Payoff Requests
Assist Old National Bank's customer's whose loan is sub-serviced with questions and escalated issues.
Enter and post mortgage loan and investor payments and maintenance including auto debits into servicing system.
Other duties as assigned.
Process various special projects, as needed as, well as reviewing information for loan acquisitions.
Provide written confirmation, to the borrower, upon completion of researched issues as needed.
Research and resolve high priority issues by working with various internal and external sources.
Responds to escalated borrower calls and cases assigned from Client Care Center or Bank Support.
Experience/Qualifications:
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in mortgage loan servicing or in a mortgage related area preferred.
High School Diploma or GED.
Thorough knowledge of mortgage loan documents and processes.
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to interact with customers (internal and external) in a courteous manner.
Ability to multi-task and to work independently.
Professional and polished telephone communication skills, excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Strong analytical and resolution skills
Assertive and able to make decisions independently.
High attention to detail with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
