Our Opportunity
North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for an Engineering Change Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform Engineering Change Request (ECR) requirements in support of the overall ECR function and to work as the ECR contact between Design and Manufacturing. They will perform data integrity tasks for CATIA v4 CAD files.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Your Priorities
+ Control, execute, and document engineering changes initiated by ECRs.
+ Responsible for reviewing all incoming ECRs for completion and accuracy.
+ Responsible for obtaining approval or rejection from the appropriate core team member during board routing phase.
+ Assign design related part numbers as requested. Maintain tracking database to assure that duplicate numbers do not exist. Verify against the AS-400 MRP database. Maintain proper standard part designation and numbering sequence.
+ Maintain database containing released customer assembly drawing numbers and their associated component external specifications.
+ Understand and assist with keeping standard parts CAD files/drawings current and correct.
Requirements
Your Background
Associate’s Degree, plus 3 + years of office and/or administrative experience.
A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
