Position Overview

The Director of HR Shared Services will lead the development and implementation of efficient, scalable HR shared services that support the organization's strategic objectives. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strategic vision to enhance HR service delivery through innovative processes, technology, and continuous improvement.

What you will do as the Director of HR Shared Services

Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the HR shared services strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Ensure the strategy supports business growth and enhances employee experience.
Service Delivery Management: Oversee the delivery of HR services including benefits administration, HR information systems (HRIS), and compliance.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of HR operations. Utilize metrics and data analysis to drive decision-making.
Technology:Oversee the management of HR technologies and systems that support shared services and HR functions. Ensure systems are integrated and provide a seamless user experience.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations. Develop and enforce policies and procedures to mitigate HR-related risks.
Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing HR shared services team. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior leadership and other departments to ensure HR services align with business needs.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the HR shared services budget. Monitor expenses and optimize costs while maintaining high service levels.
Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for HR shared services. Regularly report on performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with external HR service providers, ensuring quality and cost-effective service delivery.

What you will bring to the Team

Minimum of 10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role. Prior experience in overseeing HR shared services or HR operations.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent leadership and team management abilities
In-depth knowledge of HRIS and other HR technologies
In-depth knowledge of global benefits
Demonstrated experience in process improvement and change management to drive operational efficiencies
Strong analytical skills and experience with HR metrics and data analysis
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Comprehensive knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
