ServiceNow Developer
Scott AFB, IL

MUST:
Active DoD Secret clearance
Experienced ServiceNow Developer
8+ years of relevant experience or master's with 6+ years of prior relevant experience
6+ years of experience with the design, development, and support of technology infrastructure
4+ years of ServiceNow development
Experience with ServiceNow upgrades
Experience or familiarity with Agile development and testing methodology preferred
Exposure to ServiceNow applications like Telecommunication Management System (TSM), Telecommunications Network Inventory (TNI), Order Management Telecommunications (OMT) modules, etc.
Experience with JIRA, Git and Confluence preferred
The qualified candidate shall have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently, prioritize, schedule, and complete multiple tasks
Ability to multi-task and self-assign work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills that enable proactive and effective collaboration with a virtual team, including the ability to clearly articulate status and present to both customers and program leadership.
Candidate must have the ability to develop and present management level briefings
Demonstrate ability to learn and adapt to rapid changes in technology
Willing to assist and train junior developers
Hold and active security certification that meets DOD 8570 IAT level II or higher (i.e., Security+)
Must be able to commute to Scott AFB, IL for full time on-site support


DUTIES:
Support the standup, configuration and implementation of ServiceNow's ITSM, OMT, TSM, and TSOM modules.
Create and maintain Forms, Reports, Views, Workflows, Groups and Roles
Create, maintain and enhance Dashboards and reporting, including scheduled reports
Create and configure tool integrations with ServiceNow (Elastic, Netcool, Kafka, etc)
Coordinate and support application and platform upgrades
Assist with design, creation and cataloging of business process flows
Work with other members of the ServiceNow development team to propose solutions based on business needs and strategies
Perform the necessary tasks to design and configure ServiceNow functions to meet operational needs
Support business process re-engineering activities to move ticketing and order management capabilities into ServiceNow
Identify trends and find patterns in unstructured and semi-structured customer data that can be used to create a more positive customer experience and increase overall network performance
Interact with the customer to address Systems Engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues or conflicts
Developing, configuring, and customizing the ServiceNow platform to fit business requirements.
Responsible for the design and build of ServiceNow Applications and integration to other applications and platforms, including architecture, languages, best practices, and methodologies in an Agile Scrum environment.
Provide strong development and project on-track and on-task and collaborate on an ongoing project in both new and enhancements development between engineers, developers, analyst, and other team members.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input to support ongoing business needs for Service Now configuration, implementation, and support.
Review and apply any additional UI/UX requirements from external and internal team and align into ServiceNow development.
Utilizes available programming methodologies and languages and adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation.
Integrate data from multiple data sources into a unified CMDB, ensuring data quality and integrity are maintained.
Works with and mentors junior developers to guide and coach them throughout each project.
