Due to business growth a new position has been created for a Senior Corporate Development Analyst to join our Mergers and Acquisitions team based in Downtown Chicago.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mergers & Acquisitions - actively participate in end-to-end M&A processes, from direct sourcing of acquisition target all the way through financial modeling, due diligence, negotiations, and close.
- Integration - key player in pre- and post-close integration planning across all corporate functions, liaise with senior leadership team and their direct reports for strategy planning and execution.
- Reporting - prepare investment memoranda and quality of earnings reports to be presented to senior leadership team and Board of Directors.
- Strategic Finance - contribute to commercial analyses for non-M&A opportunities, financing projects, commercial negotiations, strategic mandates, etc.,
- Research - develop market research mapping, competitive business intelligence, understand landscape across core market and adjacencies.
- Other Support - assist across large corporate projects and other related mandates as they arise.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Required in Accounting, Finance, Economics or another related field
- 3 - 5 years of experience in a Corporate Development or Financial Analysis role
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced financial modeling skills
- Organized and works well in a team environment
- Open to domestic travel up to 15%
