Job Description
Position Highlights:
Location: Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, Elmhurst, IL
Full Time/Part Time: Part-Time, 20 hours weekly
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, with on-call schedule and rotating weekends
A Brief Overview:
Manages and coordinates the educational activities of a college radiography program. Instructs students and provides didactic classes and proficiencies per procedure. Maintains and prepares graphs, coordinates the collection of repeat rates involving students, reports findings and maintains policies and procedures as requested by Service Line Director. Contributes to the efficient operation of the department, ensuring the quality of patient care. Acts as a role model by setting a positive tone that directly impacts customer service and employee morale. Intercedes on behalf of the customer/employee to ensure a positive outcome. Performs all duties of a Radiology Tech Lead and Radiology Technologist.
What you will need:
A High School Diploma or GED
A minimum of two years of full-time experience in the x-ray modality
Orientation and educational portion as determined by college to be completed after official appointment to position
IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure
ARRT(R) (American Registry of Radiological Technology) (Radiology) certification with current registration
Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association
Bachelor's Degree, preferred
