Commercial Services (CS) is the engine room delivering all activities post deal confirmation such as contract and order administration, post fixtures activities, invoicing, trade finance activities, supply chain documentation and laytime management.

We are recruiting for a C2C transformation manager, based in either Montreal, Singapore or Chicago to join our Commercial Services global team.
This role gives a unique opportunity to accompany the transformation of our model towards synergetic process management to enhance customers and employees' experiences, to deliver greater value to the business and to develop talent/career.
The role of the C2C Transformation Manager involves spearheading the C2C Simplification team to achieve our Simplification goals in line with the 2024 strategic vision and roadmap. The Simplification initiative is designed to enhance efficiency, standardize processes, and develop scalable solutions. It encompasses a continuous improvement process that tackles business and user challenges, fostering growth by incorporating new business ventures or modifications to the existing operational model. The C2C Transformation Manager will devise innovative strategies to refine business workflows and leverage technological advancements to improve performance. The objective is to guide the Commercial Services team towards new ways of working, creating value that transcends routine transactions. Additionally, the Commercial Services Manager will cultivate and maintain relationships with Business stakeholders, ensuring their expectations are in sync with the objectives of Commercial Services.

Reporting to the General Manager, Commercial Services, you will be:
Providing leadership of theCommercial Services business improvement and transformation programs - including development of a continuous improvement framework for the team, providing digital product ownership and organizational change management
Participate and contribute to the Buy/Sell/Move strategy, providing the Commercial Services perspective and making sure it is aligned with Commercial Operations Vision.
Work in collaboration with various business units to understand their future business needs and preparing the commercials services team to support - utilizing an operational readiness mindset.
Proactively identify, drive and promote business process simplification, digital and automation improvements to effectively and efficiently deliver improved customer service solutions to internal and external stakeholders across the Business.
Develop talent and succession plans for the teams and harness a culture of care, courage, and curiosity, adopting Commercial mindsets.
Provide leadership of the commercial master data management team (MDM)
Work with the larger commercial team including BUs, Treasury, Digital, Finance, Ops Risk, and IS&T to drive improvement and optimize the end-to-end processes.
About you
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have.
Experience in leading a team to become highly performant in its way of working and consequently in delivering business outcomes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to reach out and build collaborative stakeholder relationships across different levels.
Proven track record of effective commercial administration/operations: 7- 10 years of progressive experience in CTC / sales administration or related field
Superior knowledge in Trade Finance, Shipping or Supply Chain.
Experience with international trade documentation/Letters of Credit
Knowledge of contractual concepts and understanding of associated trade-offs
