Summary

The Shared Services Center (SSC) Revenue Assurance Manager is responsible for managing all operational and financial support functions for FMS billing, to include Accident Billing, Asset Fleet Reduction (AFR) billing, invoice accuracy, financial controls, and financial/operational reporting for both internal and external customers. In addition, the Manager Revenue Assurance is responsible for managing and leading the Certificate of Insurance (COI) process, to include coverage validation and invoice adjustment processing and approval, as well as manage offshore team members.

Essential Functions

+ Manage billing processes to ensure accuracy and timely billing and invoicing, this includes, accidents, ACS closures, analysis of unbillable exceptions, processing of AFRs, 3rd Party Billing, validation of Miami Credits, revenue validation, and GL monitoring

+ Manage COI process to ensure customers that provide their own insurance have proper coverage. Manage pre-default and stop loss processes as well as COI mailbox.

+ Partner with an outsourced team that helps support COI process

+ Manage and develop finance support staff, including but not limited to, ensuring developmental goals are identified and accomplished annually, training operations are properly completed, and support talent development.

+ Manage operational and performance metrics and provides explanations and execute corrective action of variance to expected results

+ Develop and execute ongoing strategic approach to continuous improvement and efficiencies as it relates to cost, productivity and performance

+ Develop strong relationships with internal customers to ensure alignment of priorities and provide updates on work as necessary.

+ Managed P&L for your cost center

+ Lead or participate in projects to include department, SSC, division and corporate initiatives

+ Recommend/make decisions regarding existing or new programs/initiatives that have a significant impact to business operations and outcomes

+ Often serves in a consultant or advisory capacity. Regularly interacts with field management and customers

+ Administers company policies that directly affect subordinate employees

+ Recommends improvement to department policies and practices

+ Ensures that work is performed consistently and timely within company policies and procedures

+ Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, Required

+ Master’s Degree in MBA, Preferred

+ 7 years or more in Relevant experience, Required

+ 3 years or more in Supervisory experience, Required

+ 4 years or more in Ryder experience, Preferred

+ General knowledge of functional area(s) assigned Advanced, Required

+ Microsoft Office Advanced, Required

+ Certified Six Sigma Green Belt & , Preferred, 120 Days

Salary is determined based on internal equity; internal salary ranges; market

data/ranges; applicant’s skills; prior relevant experience; certain degrees or

certifications, etc.

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 – $121,000 annually, bonus eligible up to 10%
