Description:

-Assist Customer Accounting Specialists in matters of collections once the Specialist can’t collect or the agent wants to direct collect. Contacts accounts via phone and mail and sends accounts to collections agencies if needed.

-Working in a call center environment

-Sort daily output for Customer Accounting Specialists.

-Prepare forms for mail room after Customer Accounting Specialist review.

-Monitor the premium accounting inbox and respond to requests as needed or file for Customer Accounting Specialist response.

-Answer direct bill phone line.

-Assist with commission payments.

-Assist Customer Accounting Specialists with Accounts Payable batches, copying, scanning, mail runs, treasury runs, and other miscellaneous tasks.

Qualifications:

Must have:

-2+ years of customer service in an office

-Strong computer skills

-Experience taking payments before

Plus:

-Basic collection skills

-Ability to research simple to moderately complex billing and collection issues and recommend appropriate actions to customers.

-Ability to communicate effectively with all internal and external contacts involved in the billing and collection processes.

-Ability to use Microsoft Office software as well as general ledger and billing and collections applications to identify, analyze, and resolve billing and collection issues.
