Job Title: Truck/Trailer Mechanic
Job Description
Join our team as a Diesel Mechanic responsible for performing all repairs and required preventative maintenance on trailers, cranes, processors, and trucks. Tasks include diagnosing and troubleshooting repairs, understanding DOT information on trailers and AVI, and conducting all safety inspections of equipment. You will prepare safety documents as required by FMCSA, our company, and other regulatory bodies. Your role will also involve major and minor parts changing, suspension, wheel end maintenance, welding, cutting operations, and identifying equipment issues that could lead to safety concerns or equipment failure. Routine inspection of work areas to ensure proper maintenance is also a critical part of this role.
