Job Description
What this job involves:
As a Sourcing Coordinator at JLL, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the procurement process, ensuring the timely acquisition of goods and services necessary to support our business operations. You will collaborate with various internal stakeholders to understand their sourcing needs and provide valuable assistance in supplier evaluations and negotiations. Your attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously will be essential in ensuring seamless procurement operations.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Assisting in the identification and evaluation of potential suppliers
Preparing and issuing RFQs (Request for Quotes) and RFPs (Request for Proposals)
Analyzing supplier proposals and conducting price and contract negotiations
Coordinating with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information and requirements
Collaborating with the legal team to ensure the completion of appropriate contracts and agreements
Maintaining accurate records of sourcing activities and supplier performances
Monitoring supplier performance and addressing any issues or concerns
Providing support in vendor management and relationship building
Assisting in the development and implementation of procurement strategies
Staying updated with market trends and industry developments related to suppliers and products
Desired experience and technical skills:
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
Proven experience in procurement or sourcing coordination, preferably within a large organization
Strong knowledge of procurement processes and best practices
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred:
Experience with procurement software or ERP systems
Familiarity with the commercial real estate industry
CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) certification or equivalent
