Position Highlights:
SIGN-ON BONUS: $10,000
Location: Elmhurst Memorial Hospital
Floating Locations: Elmhurst Center for Health, Addison and Lombard
Full Time/Part Time: Full-Time
Hours: 10:00am to 6:30pm an 2:00pm to 10:30pm
On-Call schedule, rotating weekends, and holidays (on-call only)
What you will need:
High School Diploma or GED
Strong computer skills
Ability to troubleshoot problems as related to the software
At a minimum, must be a candidate for ARRT(R) (American Registry of Radiological Technology)or ARMRIT (American Registry of MRI
Current CPR certification issued the by American Heart Association
A minimum of an Associate's Degree or higher, preferred
Advanced techniques including cardiac and functional neuro protocols, preferred
Previous MRI experience, required
What you will do:
Operates MRI equipment to obtain images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies, according to Radiologist's directions and established procedures. Positions patients administers injections of contrast media and manipulates images to ensure a high quality exam. Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects to job, being attentive of eye contact, facial/body expressions and tone of voice. Explains procedure to patient, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.
