Job Title: Slitting Operator
Job Description
Set up and operate Cutting & Roll Wrapping Machines. Responsibilities include cutting cores to size for the slitter, ensuring a steady supply of cores for Slitting Jobs, weighing and labeling plastic rolls accurately, palletizing rolls, and delivering them to the finished goods area. Adhere to GMP’s, PRP’s, and production SOP’s. Conduct final inspections of rolls according to the Final Inspection procedure, and report all unsafe acts and conditions to department group leaders and managers immediately. The role involves repeatable motions and lifting up to 30-50 lbs.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 480 Hour(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Elk Grove Village, Illinois.
Work Environment
500,000 sqft facility prioritizing safety with extremely clean and well-organized conditions. Safety gear required includes Safety Shoes, Hair Net, Ear Plugs, Safety Glasses. Departments include Print, Lamination, Slitting, Warehouse, Maintenance. The facility has a strong tenured workforce with recent and planned investments in new machinery. Shifts available: 5:45am – 6:15pm (Day Shift) at $19.84/hr and 5:45pm – 6:15am (Night Shift) at $21.84/hr. Updated breakrooms with new self-serve vending process.
