Job Output

Reporting to the Manufacturing Coordination Manager, the Manufacturing Coordinator will be responsible for preparing pre-production paperwork, translating drawings/submittal packages from our design team, and putting them into an executable format for the manufacturing team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Organize Turf projects for production. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:
Format engineering files to drop to production
Formatting/organizing CNC files
Creating schedules
Revise nesting layouts for maximum output
Review a pre-determined checklist for each project, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Organize parts for packaging/assembly

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Travel: Minimal; Less than 5%

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Communicate effectively, both verbally and written
Understand requirements for production
Willing to train with our design team at the Firehouse
Willing to learn new programs (Rhino)
Well organized, detail oriented
Strong mathematical skills

Education and/or Experience
High School diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred but not necessary
2+ years of work experience in drafting, millwork, cabinetry, or work equivalent
Previous experience in a production/manufacturing environment required

Location & Reporting

This position works out of the manufacturing plant (Gilberts) and reports to the Manufacturing Coordination Manager. This is a salaried position and exempt from overtime pay. Occasional travel to the Firehouse (Chicago office) is to be expected. Occasionally requires lifting 10-20lbs, could accommodate wheelchair, non-walker.
