Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare general ledger entries as needed to ensure completeness and accuracy of the financial results in accordance with GAAP
Ensure financial close and reporting deadlines are met
Identify and implement process improvements, we are a fast-growing company and consistently reinventing our processes to keep pace with our growth to ensure scalability
Guide non-financial functional areas through accounting rationale and impact on reporting and control
Research, document, and form opinions on revenue and other accounting topics by partnering with Technical Accounting
Analyze actual results and investigate inconsistencies and errors
Ad-hoc projects as assigned

What are we looking for in a candidate?
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Initiative and creativity in finding efficiencies
Proficient in Microsoft office applications with strong experience in Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy; highly organized
Demonstrated capability to work across functions/organizations

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
3+ years of experience
Public accounting experience and SEC reporting experience preferred
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or progress towards attainment, preferred
