The Director of Advanced Analytics is a new leadership role within Advanced Analytics and Omni-Channel Customer Engagement function at Lundbeck US. This role will be responsible for driving business impact through establishing actionable and resulted-oriented data & analytics-driven insights. This individual will provide analytics advisory in both internal and external cross-functional collaboration to drive business adaption of advanced analytics and predictive analytics solutions across portfolio of Lundbeck brands.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

+ Lead the creation and collaboration of an agile and sustainable end-to-end analytics solution delivery system to ensure development, deployment and adoption of timely insights to inform executive decision-making, optimize market resource/tactic planning & execution and uncover levers to accelerate brand growth.

+ Lead the team to implement advanced analytics solutions, including promotional response, dynamic segmentation and explainable AI to inform Omnichannel customer strategy and achieve brand’s strategic outcomes.

+ Identify and prioritize business needs in targeting, segmentation and commercial execution that can be addressed by advanced analytics solutions through rigorous statistical modeling techniques and machine-learning-driven algorithms (i.e. AI-Driven Profitability Segmentation, Predictive Targeting, top-down Marketing/Media Mix, Omni-Channel Engagement Optimization, Patient Journey, etc.)

+ Guide the organization through innovative approaches to continuously grow in-house data /data analytics capability by improving data limitation caused by data availability and ambiguity.

+ Lead the advanced analytics team to deliver quarterly update on marketing resource optimization through marketing mix, media measurement, attribution modelling, content analytics and event stream analytics.

+ Provide insights on national and sub-national drivers of cross-channel performance by identifying synergistic impact between marketing promotional channels to optimize brand investments.

+ Support digital analytics and modular content analytics to drive personalized messaging.

+ Work as the analytics thought leader/strategic advisor by partnering on the creation, execution, and performance of brand strategies.

+ Support business needs in a timely and efficient manner demonstrating a sense of urgency, tenacity, and commitment to quality and excellence.

+ Responsible for communicating findings, results, and recommendations of analysis/research with a strong comprehensive story and enable key brand level decisions while working collaboratively across functions.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and SKILLS:

+ Accredited master’s degree in quantitative field

+ 7+ years of analytics experience in advanced analytics and data science in pharma or healthcare

+ Strong hands-on experience in running rigorous statistical models on pharmaceutical data and ability to build a comprehensive brand story to bring modeling results to light

+ Deep understanding of pharma commercial data and application, including drug distribution and delivery channels and marketing activity data at most granularity level

+ Strong experience in DTC and digital media data and analysis

+ Ability to develop analytical plans and identify the right advanced analytics approach to inform brand level decision-making

+ Ability to move from analysis to business implications and make strong presentations of data to all levels of the organization

+ High proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Access/PowerPoint)

+ Excellent communication skills and demonstrated experience in influential leadership, establishing new capability, developing cross-functional relationship and managing high-functioning team of direct and indirect reports

+ Ability to lead collaboration without direct authority and navigate in ambiguous environment and agility to adapt changing priorities of the organization

+ Able to identify best practices and contribute to continuous improvement

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and SKILLS:

+ Accredited Master’s Degree or PhD in Economics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Sociology or other related fields with a strong emphasis in quantitative methods

+ Previous experience in Pharmaceutical/Biotech industries

+ Experience with media agencies, data partners and analytics consultants to onboard data & analytics services

+ Experience with payer mix (Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid) analysis, formulary analysis and strategy development

+ Experience with ML/AI coding and implementation

+ Experience with google 360 or equivalent media data.

+ High proficiency in SAS, R, or Python

+ High proficiency in SQL coding

+ Experience with pharmaceutical launches and commercialization of pharmaceutical products

+ Prior experience in building and leading advanced analytics functions

TRAVEL:

+ Willingness/Ability to travel up to 20% domestically. International travel may be required.
