Nestlé USA, Inc. seeks a Lead Transportation in Arlington, VA

Duties: Responsible for setting the strategy and configuration to optimize the systems to support Nestle USA’s business objectives. Support the Dekalb T-Hub and engages/collaborates with various groups including “product owners” for various systems and cross functional Process Optimization Managers. Create strategy and configuration to optimize systems (such as SAPTM, Trasnporeon). Responsible for the End-to-End Supply Chain Process (E2E) on how upstream systems and processes impact transportation systems’ performance. Collaborate with the upstream owners to proactively resolve issues. Collaborate with Design & Build (D&B) team to develop solutions to resolve issues and improve system performance. Collaborate with various teams to improve the stability of the systems to reduce the number of Priority 1(P1) or Priority 2(P2) tickets impacting transportation. Support and guide the Supply Chain Analysts regarding questions related to system set up and testing. Create material to educate the Subject Matter Expertise (SME) network regarding how SAP Transportation Management (SAPTM) and the other systems work together. Support and guide the Supply Chain Analysts in the Level 0 ticketing process. Review reoccurring system related tickets and develop a strategy to reduce the number of tickets. Participate in trouble shooting calls. Lead and support various projects (Acquisitions, divestitures, system upgrades, new location set up, national truckload/intermodal bid) as needed. Provide information / options from a transportation systems point-of-view. Work with the various groups inside and outside of transportation to assure that the systems are set up and tested to meet project timelines. Support and guide the Supply Chain Analyst assigned to the project.

Requirements:

Job requires Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Applications or related field plus Eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or in SAP Transportation Management (SAPTM).

Required experience must include each of the following:

+ 8 years of experience with supply chain systems

+ 8 years of experience with support experience of SAP-Transportation and material handling

+ 8 years of experience with network optimization

+ 8 years of experience with design and build integration of TMS application with ERP applications.

+ 8 years of experience with simplification of SAP-ERP landscape.

+ 5 years of experience with design expertise in transportation and logistics;

+ 5 years of experience with market integration testing and market user acceptance testing.
