Exciting Opportunity for an Engineering Technician in the Healthcare Industry!
Our client, a leading healthcare company, is seeking an Engineering Technician to join their team. As an Engineering Technician, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Design Team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, effective communication, and attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range:
$20-23.50 per hour
What’s the Job?
+ Support the design team in performing root cause analysis for design and product failures.
+ Report product EMC activities and assist in developing EMI equipment needs, maintenance, and calibration.
+ Conduct electrical, mechanical, and environmental testing and evaluation of electromechanical medical devices.
+ Set up, perform, and monitor testing activities, and communicate test results to engineering personnel.
+ Participate in product failure analysis and suggest product design improvements.
What’s Needed?
+ High School diploma or equivalent, AA Degree is strongly preferred.
+ 1-2 years of mechanical or electrical experience is strongly preferred, or engineering grads with some intern experience.
+ Technical knowledge with at least 6 years of testing, lab, or related experience.
+ Understanding of electromechanical systems and ability to recognize system abnormalities.
+ Hands-on experience with instrumentation and data acquisition.
+ Background in measurement test equipment and working knowledge of mechanical gauging instruments.
+ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
+ Experience with environmental testing (shock, vibration, thermal, humidity, electromagnetic) is a plus.
+ Knowledge of PLC, Ladder Logic, and Micro-controllers is a plus.
+ Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
