Email a Friend Save Save Apply Now Position Summary: The Hospital Discharge Service Driver is responsible for transporting wheelchair bound patients in a wheelchair accessible van from medical facilities to locations within the region. Assists in AMSEC when needed. Qualifications: EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS H.S. Diploma/GED CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS Driver’s License upon hire and EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Two (2) years driving experience Essential Functions:+ Assists staff at medical facilities in moving patients into and out of wheelchairs
+ Transports wheelchair bound patients in a wheelchair accessible van from medical facilities to locations within the region.
+ Clean and keep wheeel chair vans in good working conditon.
+ Some on call time required
