Job Description
SUMMARY
Primary responsibility is to support the sales representatives in the growth of those territories to which they are assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Request quotes on special order merchandise from factories/factory reps and track ship dates on Factory Direct Orders as well as generate quotes on special order merchandise.
Secure 'pro' numbers from factories to track deliveries of heavy equipment and request proof of deliveries from factories.
Request literature and samples from manufacturers as needed.
Responsible for processing all paperwork relating to returns, orders, and price changes.
Assist in the coordination and communication of shipments and other major sales orders.
Furnish product documentation/information to existing and prospective accounts.
Make outbound calls to customers to procure orders and follow up with information
Perform other duties as assigned.
External Qualifications
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent and 1+ year administrative support with strong customer service experience. Working knowledge of Word and Excel, strong analytical, organizational skills and the ability to problem solve, multitask, prioritize and work independently. Excellent communication and time management skills
Preferred: Associate degree, 2+ years of experience in sales or customer service experience in an office environment and previous SAP experience.
