Job Description

As a Senior Energy Program Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, optimising and refining comprehensive energy management and sustainability programs to increase efficiency and reduce energy use/cost across the account. You will be collaborating with a team of dedicated facilities management professionals driving innovative energy conservation projects and maintaining effective system operability for a leading technology client.
You are a Subject Matter Expert in energy & sustainability management, facilities operations, decarbonization, and client communications.

Energy Efficiency and Decarbonization
Manage energy benchmarking and assessments using digital platforms.

Analyze energy consumption data to identify opportunities for improvement.

Develop control plans to maintain energy savings.

Identify and prioritize capital projects, operational changes, and upgrades (HVAC, lighting, building envelope).

Consult on building automation system design, process improvements, and program upgrades.

Advise and support building staff on energy efficiency initiatives.

Collaborate with JLL experts on renewable energy, utility management operations, and building intelligence.

Reporting & Communication
As the Senior Energy Program Manager, you will oversee energy, waste, and water data collection processes within JLL's technology platform and deliver tailored monthly and quarterly reports.

You will also offer clear and concise reporting of all energy and sustainability plans, activities, and progress.

Program Management
You will establish technical best practices for operating facilities in accordance with the client's sustainability policies.

You will advise the client on energy rate negotiations and risk decisions, especially concerning clean energy products.

You will also collaborate with other JLL Energy and Sustainability professionals across the globe to adopt and share best practices.

You will establish positive rapport with JLL and client staff for the purpose of seamless integration of energy/sustainability KPIs into daily operations.

You will develop continuous improvement initiatives using tools such as Root Cause Analysis, Process Improvements, deep dive studies, change management protocols, and updating SOPs

Sound like you? To apply you need to be:
BS in engineering (electrical, mechanical, industrial) preferred, or equivalent work experience.

7+ years of experience with energy conservation, water conservation, energy management, waste management, sustainability management, program management, or energy engineering.

Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, building automation and control systems across a variety of building types including commercial offices, R&D, or industrial facilities

Working knowledge of water conservation strategies

Certified Energy Manager (CEM) highly desired. Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.

Certification in Six Sigma is preferred.

Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

Experience presenting information to all levels of management.

Strong computer skills including proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint, online software platforms, with the ability to use spreadsheets and data analysis applications.

Ability to multi-task and effectively organize responsibilities.

Self-starter, team player, with ability to bring alternate points of view to the discussion and analysis.

Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.

Some experience in project management and leadership is preferred.

Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service.
