What you will be doing
Director, IV Fluids & Pharmacy solutions is responsible for leading all marketing efforts for Baxter's +$1B business for the US region by collaborating with partners among the ITT portfolio, Account Management, Finance, Strategic Contracting, and Demand Planning to improve the performance of the business unit and deliver on strategic goals, objectives, and commitments.
The successful candidate will be dedicated with strong intuition for business and strategic approach with a can-do attitude, demonstrate the ability to influence, communicate optimally, and form relationships across all levels within the organization. They will be proficient working in complex environments and navigating a matrixed organization to drive constructive dialog/debate, support strong decision-making, and drive alignment to deliver results.
Critical Responsibilities
Work in collaboration with cross-functional team including sales and finance team to supervise and forecast business performance and achieve quarterly and annual sales goals as well as long range plans
Develop and implement annual strategic marketing plans and programs for each product category to drive growth and profitability
Deliver new product launch excellence for upcoming launches in the pipeline across disposable and IV workflow software portfolios
Develop and action on internal and external training and omni-channel marketing campaigns to deliver on growth and support key initiatives
Provide short- and long-term market growth forecasts by directing market research and external data source analysis
Consistently analyze data to track end-user demand, wholesalers and distributor sales and assess other market forces such as competition and product capacity to improve contracting strategy within GPOs, IDN's and hospitals.
Stay well-informed of emerging external trends and market dynamics to identify risk/opportunities in the marketplace that could impact our business
Strategic and entrepreneurial attitude towards enhancing business performance
What you will bring
7+ years of broad experience in the medical device and/or pharmaceutical industry with emphasis on roles requiring strategic and analytical skills and executive presence
Ability to lead and influence in a matrixed environment, handle concurrent projects, competing priorities, and critical timelines.
Ability to connect the dots and use critical analytical skills to consider the many factors that contribute to devising strategies to drive long-term growth
Ability to analyze market/industry data, including competitive intelligence, to support data driven decision making
Strong presentation and social skills to effectively communicate and present ideas to colleagues throughout different levels in the business and to customers
