Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Risk Analyst in the financial services industry, located in ROSEMONT, Illinois. The role involves the administration, development, and support of BSA/AML/OFAC Risk Assessments, along with liaising on enterprise projects and assisting in audits. This role is well-suited for individuals proficient in Accurint, ADP – Financial Services, Archer, Bloomberg Terminal, CobiT, About Time, AML – Anti Money Laundering, Auditing, Capital Management, Claim Administration, Power BI, SQL Server, and Microsoft SQL.

Responsibilities:

- Administer, develop, and provide ongoing support for all BSA/AML/OFAC Risk Assessments.

- Assist in the interview process with line of businesses, contributing to statistical/quantitative analysis and scoring.

- Prepare periodic Risk Assessment updates and targeted Risk Assessments when necessary.

- Represent the Risk Assessment process to diverse audiences, such as Audit/Exam.

- Act as a delegate for the BSA Director, focusing on communicating and understanding BSA/OFAC Risks relevant to the subject projects to support their planning and progression.

- Share information between the BSA Department and Project Teams, ensuring effective communication of BSA/OFAC Risks.

- Assist in audit processes, maintaining adherence to BSA Governance Unit standards.

- Perform other duties as assigned relevant to the BSA Governance Unit.

- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action to mitigate risks.

- Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

- Maintain accurate customer credit records. Requirements – Proficiency in Accurint, ADP – Financial Services, Archer, Bloomberg Terminal, CobiT, About Time, and AML – Anti Money Laundering.

- Demonstrated skills in Auditing, Capital Management, Claim Administration.

- Experience with Power BI, SQL Server, and Microsoft SQL.

- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to identify and assess risk in business processes and decision making.

- Knowledge of risk management principles and regulatory compliance guidelines.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to produce high-quality reports and presentations.

- Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.

- A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.

- Relevant professional certifications would be advantageous.

- Prior experience in a risk analyst role or similar would be beneficial.
