Role Overview:

The Manufacturing Specialist – Production Supervisor performs the daily operations of second shift to ensure reliability and consistency across production lines. The role involves responsibility for planning and execution of departmental operations, with a focus on maintaining quality and fostering a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and teamwork. This role is expected to work a 4×10 schedule at the Loves Park facility (Tuesday – Friday).

Roles and Responsibilities:

+ Supervise daily production activities to ensure smooth operations and achievement of production targets.

+ Enforce safety policies and procedures among team members to ensure a safe working environment, prioritizing safety above all.

+ Monitor product quality, implementing quality control measures to meet and exceed quality standards.

+ Coordinate with the production planning team to ensure timely execution of production schedules.

+ Lead, motivate, and develop the production team, providing training and support as needed.

+ Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.

+ Troubleshoot production issues, working closely with the maintenance team to minimize downtime.

+ Prepare and present reports on production performance, including any deviations from targets and action plans for improvement.

Required Qualifications :

+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in manufacturing)

Preferred Qualifications :

+ 3+ years of experience leading people in a manufacturing environment

+ Proficient in lean manufacturing principles

+ Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards within the Aerospace industry

+ Ability to analyze data to make strategic decisions which improve production efficiency

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
