Job Description

Analyst – Products & Publishing
We are currently seeking an Analyst to research products and suppliers to identify product recommendations and merchandising changes that support our product strategy. A successful Analyst will consider our customers and publications to inform decisions on maintaining our product offering. This is based out of our headquarters in Elmhurst, IL and will require occasional travel to trade shows or supplier locations to gather insights for maintaining product relevance.


Responsibilities could include:

Perform product analysis across multiple product categories, including leading supplier conversations and researching industry/company changes to understand how our supplier base is evolving

Recommend updates or adjustments to existing products to better align with customer needs and product strategy (e.g. assess products to determine if they remain relevant or need modifications to meet customer demands)

Review and update product specifications and benefits to ensure accuracy and alignment with current standards

Analyze domestic manufacturer products to identify overlaps or potential areas for refinement in our offerings

Present findings and marketplace trends to peers and department leaders in meetings.

What We Look For:
Strong candidates should possess strong critical thinking and basic project management skills, along with research ability. A bachelor’s degree and technical proficiency in Microsoft Suite is required, and a background or experience in engineering or technical fields is preferred.

Be Rewarded: Total cash compensation typically ranges from $144,000 - $166,500, which includes a base salary (starting between $111,000 - $128,000) and annual cash profit sharing based on company profitability.
