THIS POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR UP TO A $25,000 SIGN ON BONUS THIS POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR A RELOCATION STIPEND IF MOVING MORE THAN 50 MILES FROM BLESSING HEALTH SYSTEM JOB SUMMARY+ We are a 30 bed unit serving many medical patient populations. Our focus is oncology (from new diagnosis to end of life), respiratory diseases, congestive heart failure, and end of life/hospice. Our nurses are trained and certified to administer chemotherapy and other cancer treatments for inpatients. We have a mix of experienced and new graduate nurses who demonstrate great teamwork to provide those we serve with high quality, compassionate care. This position assesses patient/family health problems and resources, takes a leadership role in the development, implementation, and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care provided by the nursing team. Provides direct nursing care and interventions to designated patient populations. This position requires providing services to one or more age populations, including adult through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS+ Education/Training/Experience:
+ REQUIRED:
+ Graduate of an RN School of Nursing
+ 1 YEAR OF RN EXPERIENCE
+ PREFERRED:
+ BSN
+ License/Certifications/Special Requirements:
+ Possesses current Illinois RN license or is willing to transfer license from another state.
+ Pay Status:
+ NON-EXEMPT – HOURLY
