JOB SUMMARY
Analyzes and identifies improvements for current department processes. Documents and studies department processes utilizing Lean Six Sigma tools, time/motion studies and other techniques. Manages mid-size projects and implementations, often focused on process modifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages project team to develop and implement mid-sized process efficiencies. Uses project management tools which may include a project plan, business case/cost benefit tracker, training and communication plan, etc.
Researches and gains in-depth understanding of current processes and formally documents new areas of process improvement.
Analyzes and benchmarks process metrics against industry standards to ensure a “best practice” is achieved when possible.
Assists management in the tracking and prioritization of projects in the Process Improvement Team pipeline.
Conducts time/motion studies to forecast savings in specific areas of a department.
Partners with IT to create technology solutions which achieve direct process efficiencies.
Trains staff on new approved business processes.
Performs other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required plus a minimum of three years’ experience with process improvement, project management or other related experience.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Green Belt Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Intermediate knowledge of computer software and hardware (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite Products).
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
*Colorado Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The maximum salary for the Process Improvement Analyst position is $58,500 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
