Robert Half is looking to add a full-time Staff Accountant to their growing fleet of internal accounting professionals. This is not a contract / temporary role, but an internal permanent position working for Robert Half. Candidate will need to be self-driven and organized, as well as comfortable working under tight deadlines with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate must possess attention to detail and solid communication abilities. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Strong technology skills are critical, particularly proficiency with Microsoft Excel (vLookups and pivot tables preferred). Candidate must be available to commute up to 35 miles from home; but periodic assignments may be hybrid or remote from time to time. Apply today for this great career opportunity!
Typical duties include:
- Reviewing general ledger accounts and preparing and adjusting journal entries
- Performing account analysis and reconciliations, including bank statements and intercompany general ledger accounts
- Maintaining the general ledger chart of accounts
- Assisting with month-end or year-end close processes
- Posting monthly, quarterly and yearly accruals
- Experience with QuickBooks or ERP software such as: SAP, JDE, Oracle
